AIAPGET 2026 Counselling Begins October 26: Round 1 Registration for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy PG Seats

The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has released the counselling schedule for AIAPGET 2026. Round 1 registration opens on October 26, and the first seat allotment result will be declared on November 3. The schedule, along with the information bulletin, was issued on October 20, 2026.

AIAPGET 2026 counselling is the central route to MD and MS seats in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy colleges. The entire process runs online on the AACCC official portal, and only candidates who qualified in AIAPGET 2026 can take part.

Round 1 dates every candidate must note

Round 1 is where most government quota seats get filled, so missing a date here is costly. Here is the official timeline:

• Tentative seat matrix verification: October 24 to 25, 2026
• Registration and fee payment: October 26 to November 1, 2026 (registration closes at 2 PM; payment till 5 PM on November 1)
• Choice filling and locking: October 27 to November 1, 2026 (choice locking runs from 2 PM to 11:55 PM on November 1)
• Seat allotment processing: November 2, 2026
• Round 1 result: November 3, 2026
• Reporting at allotted institute: November 4 to 13, 2026

Register early rather than waiting for November 1. Portal traffic peaks on the last day, and a failed payment after 5 PM leaves you out of the round.

Lock your choices well before 11:55 PM on November 1. A seat you forgot to lock is a seat you never claimed.

Round 2 and Round 3: what comes after the first result

Candidates who do not get a seat in Round 1, or want to upgrade, get two more chances. AACCC has fixed dates for both rounds in the same schedule.

Round 2: registration and payment from November 16 to 19; choice filling and locking from November 17 to 19; seat allotment result on November 21; institute reporting from November 22 to 26.

Round 3: registration and payment from December 1 to 3; choice filling and locking during the same window; result on December 5; reporting from December 6 to 10.

One point candidates often miss: you must register fresh for every round you want to join. Your Round 1 registration does not carry over to Round 2 or Round 3. Keep your documents and the registration fee ready each time.

Which seats and colleges the central counselling covers

The central process covers All India Quota seats in government colleges, government-aided colleges, central universities and national institutes. It also covers 100 percent of seats in deemed universities and the internal seats of Banaras Hindu University. State quota AYUSH PG seats are handled by separate state counselling authorities on their own dates.

How to register for AIAPGET 2026 counselling in 5 steps

1. Open the AACCC official portal and complete Round 1 registration between October 26 and November 1 (2 PM).
2. Pay the registration and security fee online before the 5 PM payment deadline on November 1.
3. Fill your college and course choices from October 27 and lock them before 11:55 PM on November 1.
4. Check the seat allotment result on November 3, 2026.
5. Download the allotment letter and report to the allotted institute between November 4 and 13 with original documents.

Keep scanned copies of your AIAPGET admit card and scorecard, degree certificate, internship completion certificate, registration with the state council, category certificate if applicable, and a valid photo ID. Institutes verify originals at reporting, so carry both originals and self-attested photocopies.
