Nov 2: Jharkhand NEET PG Round 1 Allotment Today, Report to College by Nov 10

Follow us on Google

The Jharkhand NEET PG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result is due today, November 2. The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will publish the provisional allotment on its counselling portal, and candidates who filled their choices on October 29 and 30 can check which college and course they have got. If your name is on the list, the clock starts right away. Reporting and document verification at the allotted institute runs from November 3 to November 10, and a seat not joined by November 10 is lost.

This round covers state quota seats in MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB courses in medical colleges across Jharkhand. Seats were allotted on the basis of NEET PG 2026 rank, the state merit list, reservation rules, and the choices each candidate filled. The result is provisional, so read every line of your allotment letter before you travel.

How Round 1 got here

Round 1 moved fast once the schedule opened. Online applications and document uploads ran from October 21 to 25. The board then published the provisional state merit list, took objections, and released the final state merit list on October 28. Choice filling followed on October 29 and 30. Only candidates who registered in the Round 1 window and filled choices in those two days are part of this allotment.

Students in other states are going through the same stage this week. The Madhya Pradesh NEET PG Round 1 allotment runs on a similar reporting window, and the Maharashtra NEET PG 2026 merit list set off choice filling there on November 2. Round 1 dates at a glance

  • October 21 to 25: Online application and document upload
  • October 26 to 27: Provisional state merit list published
  • October 28: Final state merit list published
  • October 29 to 30: Choice filling for seat allotment
  • November 2: Provisional seat allotment result and allotment letters
  • November 3 to 10: Reporting, document verification and admission at the allotted institute

Keep this list on your phone. The reporting window is eight days, but colleges can be crowded in the first two days, so plan travel early instead of leaving it for November 10.

How to download your allotment letter

The allotment letter is the paper that gets you through the college gate. Download it from the official portal, not from a forwarded link in a group chat. You can check your allotment on the official JCECEB portal once the result link goes live.

  • Go to neetpg.jceceb.co.in, or start from the JCECEB website and follow the NEET PG counselling link.
  • Look for the link marked “Provisional Seat Allotment Letter - NEET PG 2026” on the home page.
  • Log in with your application number, password and the security pin shown on screen.
  • Your allotted college, course and quota will show on screen. Download the allotment letter and print two copies.
  • Read the letter fully. It names the institute, the reporting dates, and the fee or document steps the college expects.

One small check saves a wasted trip. Match the college and course on the allotment letter with what you see on screen, and keep a screenshot of the result page as well. If the portal is slow in the first hours, wait and retry instead of trusting a screenshot shared by someone else.

What to carry when you report

A seat you do not report for by November 10 is a seat you lose, no matter how good your rank was.

Reporting means physical verification at the allotted institute. Carry your printed provisional allotment letter first, because the college will ask for it at the counter. Take all original certificates: MBBS degree or provisional certificate, internship completion certificate, NEET PG scorecard and admit card, registration certificate, and category or domicile certificates where they apply. Keep your seat acceptance or fee payment receipts ready too, along with a valid photo ID.

Pack photocopies of every document in a separate folder. Colleges keep attested copies for their records and return the originals after verification, but the process is smoother when you hand over a full set at once. If any certificate is still with another institution, carry a written proof of that and ask the college office what it accepts, instead of assuming.

If you did not get a seat this round

No seat in Round 1 is not the end of the road. Jharkhand NEET PG counselling runs in more than one round, with Round 2, mop-up and stray vacancy rounds to follow, and the board will announce those dates separately. Watch the JCECEB website for the next schedule, and keep your documents and login details ready so you can act the day the next window opens.

Candidates who got a seat face a different choice. Join the allotted college within the reporting window, or lose the seat and wait for the next round. There is no benefit in holding out past November 10. Decide early, report on time, and keep the admission receipt safe. That receipt is your proof of joining if any question comes up later.
