MP NEET PG Round 1 Result Out: Report by Nov 10 or Lose Your MD, MS Seat

Follow us on Google

The MP NEET PG 2026 Round 1 allotment result is out, and the clock is now ticking. If you got a seat, you must report to your allotted medical college between October 30 and November 10, 2026. Miss that window, and you risk losing the seat you worked so hard to earn.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, released the result on October 29, 2026, on the official DME MP portal. The result covers the state quota seats for MD, MS, Post Graduate Diploma, and Post MBBS DNB courses in government and private medical colleges across Madhya Pradesh. Only students who registered, got their documents verified, and locked their choices could take part in this round.

Choice filling for Round 1 closed on October 27, 2026. That step is now behind us. The MP NEET PG Round 1 registration round set the stage for this allotment, and the merit list, seat availability, and your locked preferences decided who got which college and course.

The dates that matter right now

Keep this table close. These are the dates from the official Round 1 schedule, and they leave no room for delay.

What you have to doDate
Round 1 allotment resultOctober 29, 2026
Report to the allotted collegeOctober 30 to November 10, 2026, up to 6 PM
Give willingness for upgradation to Round 2October 30 to November 10, 2026, up to 11:59 PM
Resign or cancel admission onlineOctober 30 to November 10, 2026, up to 6 PM

Reporting is not an online formality. You have to go to the college in person, get your documents checked, and pay the fee. Plan your travel with a day to spare. The last days are crowded, and a delay or a missing paper on November 10 can turn into a lost seat.

Reporting runs from October 30 to November 10. Do not wait for the last day. A seat in Round 1 is only yours once you report and complete admission.

How to check your MP NEET PG Round 1 allotment

Check it in two ways. The allotment list PDF gives the college and course, and your candidate login gives the formal allotment letter.

  • Open the DME MP Online portal and go to PG Medical Counselling for MD and MS courses.
  • Look for the link that says First Round Allotment List for MP State Combined NEET PG Counselling 2026.
  • Download the PDF and press Ctrl + F to search for your NEET PG roll number, common rank, or name.
  • Log in with your candidate details and download your provisional allotment letter. You will need this letter at the college.
  • Save both on your phone and as a printout, so you are not stuck if the portal slows down later.

If your name is not in the list, do not panic. Round 1 is only the first step, and seats freed by students who resign come back in later rounds. Keep your login details safe and watch the portal for the Round 2 schedule.

What to carry when you report

Carry originals plus two sets of self-attested photocopies of each item below.

  • Provisional seat allotment letter for MP NEET PG 2026
  • NEET PG 2026 admit card, scorecard, and rank letter
  • MBBS degree certificate or provisional passing certificate
  • MBBS marksheets for all professional exams
  • Compulsory rotatory internship completion certificate
  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate from the Medical Council, National Medical Commission, or State Medical Council
  • Government photo ID such as Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, or PAN card
  • MP domicile certificate, if you claimed a state domicile seat
  • Caste, EWS, or PwD certificate in the prescribed state format, if it applies to you
  • In-service experience or sponsorship certificate, if you applied under that quota

Check the spelling of your name on every document before you travel. A mismatch between your ID, your MBBS certificate, and your allotment letter is a common reason students face trouble at the reporting desk.

Should you take the seat, or wait for an upgrade?

If the college and course suit you, report and complete admission. That locks in your seat for now.

Want a better option in Round 2? Give your willingness for upgradation during the same October 30 to November 10 window. Read the rules on the portal before you tick it, because an upgrade can change your college.

Students who do not want the seat at all can use the resignation window, which also runs till November 10 up to 6 PM. Do not simply skip reporting. A formal resignation keeps your record clean for later rounds.

The NEET PG Round 1 final allotment result for the all-India quota came out earlier. State rounds follow their own merit lists, so follow the portal for the quota you applied under.

A quick word before you travel

Seats in PG medicine are few, so the reporting window matters as much as the result itself. Book your travel early, keep a folder with originals and copies, and keep the fee receipt safe. For more admissions updates, check the official portal first. Official notices are the final word.
