4,687 MBBS and BDS Seats Allotted: NEET UG Round 3 Result Out, Report by October 9

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG Round 3 seat allotment result 2026 on its official website, mcc.nic.in. A total of 4,687 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted in this round. Candidates who registered for Round 3 can now check their allotment status online and must report to their allotted college between October 1 and October 9, 2026.

The result covers the 15% All India Quota seats along with seats in deemed and central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER and AFMC for MBBS, BDS and other applicable courses. The provisional result is published first, and grievances are reviewed the same day before the final allotment is issued.

The result is available only on the official MCC website. No login SMS or email carries the official allotment, so use the steps below:

• Visit the official MCC website and click the “UG Medical” tab at the top.
• Find the link for the NEET UG Round 3 seat allotment result 2026.
• Log in with your NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
• Your allotment status, including the allotted institute, course and category, will appear on screen.
• Download the provisional result and the allotment letter, and keep several printed copies.

If your result page shows a technical error in the provisional allotment, report it to the MCC helpdesk during the grievance window instead of waiting.

183 new seats were added for this round

MCC added 183 new MBBS and BDS seats to the Round 3 seat matrix, which made this round one of the largest this year. The new seats include ones at Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Government Medical College in Ahilyanagar, Datta Meghe Dental College in Nagpur, Vinayaka Missions Medical College in Karaikal, and Agartala Government Medical College. Clear and virtual vacancy lists were also published earlier so candidates could plan their choices.

Round 3 registration ran from September 22 to 27, choice filling closed on September 28, and allotment processing took place on September 28 and 29.

Report between October 1 and October 9 with your documents

Allotted candidates must report in person at their allotted institute between October 1 and October 9, 2026, typically up to 5 PM on the last day. MCC will then verify the data of joined candidates on October 10. Go through our college admission documents checklist before you leave — one missing paper can hold up your reporting.

Carry originals of every document. Colleges verify the originals and keep attested copies, and one missing certificate is enough to delay your admission.

Carry the following for reporting:

• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Provisional allotment letter downloaded from mcc.nic.in
• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
• Government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar card, passport or driving licence
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable, issued by the competent authority
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• Four to six passport-size photographs

Also pay the tuition fee and other institutional charges as instructed by the allotted college at the time of reporting.

What if you did not get a seat in Round 3

The counselling is not over. MCC has already announced the stray vacancy round schedule:

• Registration: October 12 to October 14, 2026
• Choice filling: October 12 to October 15, 2026
• Seat allotment processing: October 15 to October 16, 2026
• Stray vacancy result: October 17, 2026
• Reporting at allotted colleges: October 19 to October 26, 2026

Unlike earlier rounds, Round 3 does not offer a free exit. If you are allotted a seat and do not join it, you will lose your security deposit, so only lock choices for colleges you are genuinely willing to join. Keep an eye on our admissions section so you never miss a counselling update.
