Follow us on Google

Missed a seat in the earlier UP ITI counselling rounds? This is your final window. The State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Uttar Pradesh has opened the fifth phase of UP ITI admission 2026 to fill seats that remained vacant after the fourth round. Online applications and choice filling are open from October 6 till midnight of October 11, 2026.

The fifth phase covers the 2026-27 training session in both government and private Industrial Training Institutes across the state. Students who skipped the earlier rounds, could not secure a seat, or lost their allotted seat now get one more shot. This round is part of the state government’s push to connect more youth with skill training and employment-oriented courses.

UP ITI admission 2026: fifth round dates

The schedule for the fifth phase is short, so do not wait for the last day. Servers slow down near deadlines, and the window closes exactly at midnight.

Phase coversSeats vacant after the fourth round

The fourth phase of the admission process was completed on October 3. This fifth phase is only for the seats that are still empty.

Both fresh and old candidates get a clean slate in the fifth round: new students can register for the first time, and earlier registrants can either revise their choices or stay with their original ones.

Who can apply in the fifth phase

The council has kept the doors wide open this time. Check which category you fall into.

Previously registered candidates of government ITIs who could not secure admission can log in with their registration number and date of birth and fill fresh choices for the vacant trades and institutes of their choice. You can also re-register details related to gender, sub-category, and educational qualification if they were wrong earlier.

Candidates who were not selected in the first, second, and third phases, or were selected but could not take admission, fall in the same group. If you do not enter new choices, you will still be considered for allotment based on the choices in your original application.

New candidates can apply online for the first time for both government and private ITIs. Students whose names were cancelled after an earlier admission can also apply in this phase.

Fees: what each category pays

The fee is paid online after you submit the application form:

  • General and OBC candidates: Rs 300
  • SC and ST candidates: Rs 250
  • All female candidates: Rs 100

Pay through the Union Bank of India payment gateway using a debit card, credit card, internet banking, or UPI, then print your application form for document verification.

How to apply before the October 11 deadline

Get your SCVT UP admission portal login ready and follow these steps:

  • Visit the Council’s authorized admission website and open the fifth-phase application link.
  • If you are a fresh candidate, complete the online registration and fill the application form carefully.
  • If you registered earlier, log in with your registration number and date of birth, then enter revised choices for trades and institutes.
  • Submit the application and pay the registration fee through the Union Bank of India payment gateway.
  • Print the submitted application form and keep a copy for your records.

Before you choose, check the vacant seats for your district. Abhishek Singh, Executive Director of the council, said district-wise, institute-wise, and trade-wise vacancy details are on the Council’s authorized website, and every ITI has been asked to display the updated trade-wise status on its notice board.

Keep your college admission documents ready before you start the form: marksheets, transfer certificate, category certificate, and photographs are the usual requirements at verification. Students tracking other admission alerts should note that a fifth-phase window like this rarely gets another extension, so October 11 is a hard stop.
