4,687 Seats Confirmed: NEET UG Round 3 Final Allotment Out, Report by October 9

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the final seat allotment result for NEET UG 2026 Round 3. Students who took part in this round can now check whether they got a seat and which college they have been allotted. Anyone with an allotted seat must complete reporting at the college by October 9, 2026.

This is the final version of the Round 3 result. MCC released a provisional list earlier and then the final PDF after reviewing objections. The final list is what counts. If your roll number appears in it, the seat is yours to claim, but only if you report on time.

Final result brings a revised reporting schedule

One detail changed since the first announcement. Reporting was first planned to begin on October 1. MCC revised it, and students started reporting from October 2 instead. The last date did not change. You have until October 9 to reach your allotted college, finish document verification, and complete admission formalities.

If you were holding the earlier NEET UG Round 3 seat allotment schedule, update your plan. Late arrival means the seat lapses, and there is no second chance inside this round.

Which seats were allotted this round

The result covers MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats across the 15 percent All India Quota and central institutions. Deemed universities, ESIC colleges, and AFMS seats are included in the same round.

MCC has allotted 4,687 seats in Round 3. The council added 183 fresh seats to the matrix for this round, which gave a few more students a chance than the provisional round suggested.

“This is the last regular round before the stray vacancy phase. Students who skip reporting now lose their seat and cannot carry it forward.”

How to check the final allotment PDF

Follow these steps on the official portal:

  • Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  • Open the UG Medical section from the top of the homepage.
  • Click the link for the NEET UG Round 3 final seat allotment result.
  • The result opens as a PDF. Use the search function to find your roll number.
  • Download and save both the result PDF and your allotment letter.

Do this on the MCC website only. Fake result PDFs circulate on social media every counselling season, and the only list that matters is the one on the official portal.

Reporting: carry the full document set

When you report to your allotted college, keep originals ready along with two sets of photocopies. Colleges verify every document against what you submitted during counselling, so names, dates, and certificate numbers must match exactly.

The documents you need:

  • Allotment letter downloaded from the MCC portal
  • NEET UG 2026 admit card and official scorecard
  • Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
  • Birth certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Photo identity proof such as Aadhaar or PAN card
  • Caste certificate and PwD certificate, where applicable
  • Eight recent passport-size photographs

The admission fee varies from college to college and by category. Pay it in the mode your institute specifies and collect the admission confirmation receipt before you leave. Colleges complete their verification of Round 3 admissions by October 10.

Students who are still working on paperwork for college admissions in other rounds should keep this checklist handy. The document set is nearly the same across counselling authorities, and sorting it out early avoids a last-day rush.

Did not get a seat? The stray vacancy round starts October 12

Round 3 is the last regular round, but one more window remains. MCC will conduct a stray vacancy round for students who did not secure a seat in the earlier rounds. The schedule, as announced alongside the final result:

  • Registration and fee payment: October 12 to October 14, 2026
  • Choice filling: October 12 to October 15, 2026
  • Seat allotment result: October 17, 2026

If you plan to take part, start preparing your choice list now. Read the counselling seat matrix guide on this site to understand how preference order decides your outcome. In a stray vacancy round, seats go fast and there is no upgradation afterwards, so fill choices you genuinely want to join.

Keep watching the official MCC portal for the stray vacancy notice. Reporting deadlines in counselling never stretch, and the students who act in the first two days always have the easiest time.
