AP EDCET 2026: Phase 1 Seat Allotment Out, Report to College by October 27

The AP EDCET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment is out, and the reporting window opens today, October 24. Candidates who took part in the Andhra Pradesh B.Ed counselling can now check which college they have been allotted, and they have until October 27, 2026 to complete self-reporting and report physically to the college. Classes in B.Ed colleges across the state are scheduled to begin on October 24 itself, so allotted candidates should not wait till the last day.
AP EDCET, conducted for admission to two-year B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education programmes, covers government, university and private unaided teacher training colleges across Andhra Pradesh. The Phase 1 counselling was run by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) through the Common Admission Portal. Registration for the phase ran from October 5 to 12, certificate verification from October 6 to 19, and web options from October 14 to 18, with an option-edit facility on October 19.
How to check your AP EDCET Phase 1 allotment
Keep your login details ready before you open the portal. The allotment is available only through the candidate login, not as a public list.
- Go to the official Common Admission Portal at cap.apcfss.in.
- Open the Candidate Login window and enter your username and password.
- Look for the AP EDCET 2026 seat allotment result link on your dashboard.
- If you have been allotted a seat, click on Confirm to accept it.
- If a tuition fee applies, the amount will show on screen. Pay it online to generate your seat allotment order.
- Candidates covered by the fee reimbursement scheme can accept the seat directly and download the allotment order.
- Download and print the allotment order. You will need it at the college.
Students tracking other counselling outcomes this week can also follow the NEET PG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result, which was due on October 24, and the Assam NEET UG stray vacancy seat allotment result for medical seats in the state.
Reporting to college: October 24 to 27
“A seat is confirmed only when the college verifies your documents. Accepting the allotment online is step one. Reporting in person, with originals in hand, is what locks the admission.”
Self-reporting online and physical reporting at the allotted college both run from October 24 to October 27, 2026. The college will check your documents and then confirm the admission. Candidates who do not report within this window may lose the seat, and it could then be offered in a later phase.
Carry the allotment order along with your AP EDCET rank card and hall ticket. Take original academic certificates plus photocopies: SSC and Intermediate marksheets, and your degree original or provisional certificate. Add your transfer certificate, Aadhaar card and two passport-size photographs. Students from reserved categories, EWS, BC, sports or NCC categories should carry the matching certificates in original, and those claiming fee reimbursement or reservation benefits should also carry income, caste and residence certificates where applicable.
What if you did not get a seat?
Not getting a seat in Phase 1 is not the end of the road. APSCHE will announce second phase counselling under the convenor quota after the first phase reporting closes on October 27. Candidates can also look at management quota seats in private B.Ed colleges. Keep your login details safe and watch the official portal for the second phase schedule instead of trusting forwarded messages on social media.
The official counselling information is published on the APSCHE EDCET portal. Check it for any change in dates before you travel to the college.
