The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the DSSSB TGT admit card 2026 on October 24, 2026. Candidates who applied for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts can now download their hall tickets from the board’s official website, dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The exams for these teaching posts will run from November 3 to December 5, 2026.

This recruitment covers 1,417 teacher vacancies in Delhi government schools. The posts include TGT Computer Science, Domestic Science Teacher, Drawing Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Special Educator (Primary). Since the exam dates differ from post to post, the first thing to check on your admit card is your own date, shift, and centre. Do not go by someone else’s hall ticket.

Which posts are covered and how many seats each has

The vacancy list adds up to 1,417 posts. TGT Computer Science has the largest share with 675 posts, followed by Special Educator (Primary) with 450 posts, TGT Special Education with 163 posts, and Domestic Science Teacher with 129 posts. These posts fall under the Directorate of Education, Delhi, while the Special Education Teacher post is for the New Delhi Municipal Council.

DSSSB TGT exam dates: post-wise schedule

The exams do not all fall on the same day. The post-wise dates released so far are:

  • Domestic Science Teacher (post code 42/26): November 3 and 4, 2026
  • TGT Computer Science (post code 41/26): November 27, 28, 30, and December 1, 2, 3, 4, 2026
  • Drawing Teacher (post code 71/25): December 5, 2026
  • Special Education Teacher (post code 72/25): December 5, 2026

TGT Computer Science candidates should note that their exam is spread over seven days in three shifts each day. Your admit card will confirm which of those days and shifts is yours. Candidates for other teacher exams can use the JTET admit card 2026 and TN TET result 2026 pages on this site to compare how other state teacher tests handle their hall tickets and scorecards.

Shift timings for the exam

The DSSSB TGT exam is an online computer-based test held in three shifts on exam days:

  • Shift I: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Shift II: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
  • Shift III: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Reach the centre well before the reporting time printed on your admit card. Late entry is usually not allowed, and the reporting time is often much earlier than the exam start time. Plan your travel a day in advance if your centre is in an unfamiliar part of Delhi.

How to download the DSSSB TGT admit card 2026

Follow these steps to get your hall ticket:

  • Go to the official DSSSB website at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
  • Open the admit card or latest notifications section on the homepage.
  • Click the link for the DSSSB TGT Admit Card 2026.
  • Enter your application number and password, along with the security code shown on the screen.
  • Submit the details and check your admit card.
  • Download the PDF and print a clear copy to carry to the exam centre.

“Download your admit card today, not on exam morning. A last-minute server load or a wrong password can cost you the whole exam.”

Details to check on your hall ticket

Once the admit card is in your hands, go through every line carefully:

  • Your name and roll number
  • Application number and post code
  • Post name and advertisement number
  • Exam date, shift, and reporting time
  • Exam centre name and address
  • Your photograph and signature
  • Exam day instructions

If you spot a spelling mistake in your name or a wrong photograph, contact DSSSB through its official channels right away. Do not wait until the exam week, because corrections take time. Also check that the post code on the admit card matches the post you applied for, since several TGT posts are being tested in the same window.

What to carry on exam day

Carry a printed copy of your admit card and one original photo ID. Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, and driving licence are all accepted. Some centres also ask for a passport-size photograph, so keep two ready. Read the instructions on your own hall ticket once more before you leave home, because the board can add centre-specific rules.

Leave your mobile phone, smartwatch, calculator, notes, and other electronic items at home. These are not allowed inside the exam hall, and centres may not have a safe place to keep them.

What happens after the exam

The selection process has two stages: the written examination and document verification. There is no interview round. Keep your admit card safe even after the exam, because you may need your roll number and application details when the answer key and result are released. Results and scorecards for teacher exams are published in the results section of this site as they come out, so check back after your exam date.

For now, the priority is simple. Download the admit card, confirm your date and shift, and reach the centre on time with the right documents. A small check today can save a wasted trip later.
