The Indira Gandhi National Open University has released the admit card for its PhD Entrance Test, July 2026 session. There is a second route worth checking. IGNOU has sent a direct download link for the admit card to the registered email addresses of all eligible candidates. If you do not see it, check the spam or junk folder before assuming anything is wrong. The admit cards are available only to candidates who registered successfully and are eligible for the test.

What to check on the hall ticket before you print it

The card carries the candidate’s name, photograph, exam date and time slot, exam centre name and address, and exam-day instructions. Read every line. The most common problems are a misspelt name, a wrong photograph, or a centre listed in a city the candidate did not choose.

If anything is wrong, contact the university or your regional centre right away with proof of your registration. Errors are far easier to fix eleven days before the exam than the night before. Take two printouts: one for the exam day and one as a backup at home.
