NEET MDS Round 3 Final Result Out, Reporting Starts Nov 1: Check Your Seat Now

The Medical Counselling Committee has published the NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 final allotment result. Candidates who took part in Round 3 can now check their allotted dental college and MDS specialisation on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. Reporting at allotted colleges starts tomorrow, November 1, and closes on November 7, 2026.
This round covers 50 percent All India Quota seats, plus seats in deemed universities, central universities and Armed Forces Medical Services institutions.
The final list is live after a provisional release on Oct 30
MCC put out the provisional Round 3 allotment a day early, on October 30. Candidates could check that list and raise objections through the grievance system in the candidate portal. That window closed at 10 AM today, October 31.
The final result published today replaces the provisional list. If your allotment changed, the final version is the one your college will follow. MCC had told candidates not to approach their allotted colleges until the final result came out, since a provisional seat is not a confirmed admission.
MCC has also published the clear vacancy and virtual vacancy seat lists for Round 3.
How to check your NEET MDS Round 3 allotment
Follow these steps on the official MCC MDS counselling page:
- Open mcc.nic.in and go to the MDS Counselling 2026 section.
- Find the link titled Final Allotment result for MDS Round 3 and open the PDF.
- Search the PDF for your NEET MDS All India Rank.
- Check the allotted institute, MDS specialisation, quota and category against your rank.
- Read the remarks column carefully. It shows whether your seat is new, an upgrade, or unchanged.
- Download and save the PDF. You will need it when you report.
Once you confirm your seat, log in to the MCC candidate portal and download your allotment letter. Print it before you travel, since your college will ask for it first at reporting.
A provisional allotment is not an admission. Only the final Round 3 list counts, so check the final PDF by your All India Rank and carry the allotment letter from the candidate portal.
Reporting from Nov 1 to 7: what to carry
Reporting runs from November 1 to November 7, 2026, at the allotted dental college. Reach the college early in the window. Verification counters get crowded, and a missing paper on November 7 leaves no time to fix it.
Carry the allotment letter, NEET MDS admit card and scorecard, BDS degree and mark sheets, internship completion certificate, dental council registration certificate, and photo ID. Take originals plus self-attested photocopies; colleges verify originals and keep copies on record.
Seat rules on joining, security deposit and free exit follow MCC counselling rules, so read the reporting instructions in the candidate portal before you leave. Students upgraded in Round 3 should follow the upgrade instructions in the same notice instead of assuming their old seat still stands.
The reporting window here mirrors how other MCC rounds work. Candidates who followed the NEET PG Round 1 final allotment saw the same pattern. State counselling runs on its own track too, such as the MP NEET PG Round 1 allotment reporting window.
How Round 3 got here
Round 3 registration ran from October 22 to 27, choice filling from October 23 to 28, and choice locking closed at 11:55 PM on October 28. MCC processed allotments on October 29 and 30, based on merit, locked choices, reservation rules and seat availability.
That tight timeline is why the provisional list could come a day early and the final list within 24 hours.
What happens after Round 3
Seats that stay vacant after Round 3 reporting move to the Stray Vacancy Round. MCC will publish that schedule separately on its website, with its own participation conditions. It is not automatic: candidates who want a stray vacancy seat must follow the fresh schedule when it appears.
If you did not get a seat in Round 3, do not treat this as the end of counselling. Watch the MDS counselling section on mcc.nic.in for the stray vacancy notice, and keep your documents ready so you can act fast when it opens. For other recent university results, the section page is updated as new lists come.
