NPTEL Result 2026: October 28 Batch Out, Check Your Jul-Dec Scorecard Now

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) has released a fresh batch of Jul-Dec 2026 results, with the latest set published on October 28. Students who took the July-December 2026 semester exams can now check whether their course scorecard is out on the official website, nptel.ac.in. The October 28 batch covers courses such as Laser-Based Manufacturing, Labour Welfare and Industrial Relations, Heat Transfer, Mathematical Methods and its Application, and Introduction to Market Structures.

This matters because NPTEL does not release every course result on one day. Results have come out in batches since September 29, so your result may already be live even if your friend’s course is still pending. The only safe way to know is to check the official result sheet for your own course.

October 28 batch: which courses made the latest list

The latest update, published on October 29, lists results released on October 26, 27, and 28. The October 28 set includes Laser-Based Manufacturing, Labour Welfare and Industrial Relations, Heat Transfer, Mathematical Methods and its Application, and Introduction to Market Structures. Earlier, NPTEL released results on October 16 for exams held on September 19 and 20. That set covered courses such as An Introduction to Coding Theory, Cellular Biophysics, Introduction to Programming in C, Postmodernism in Literature, Calculus of Several Real Variables, Tools and Technologies of Language Documentation, Project Planning and Control, and Soft Skill Development.

NPTEL runs these free online certification courses through the SWAYAM platform, with teaching from the IITs and IISc. Students take them each semester to build skills or add a certificate to their resume. That is why result week always brings a rush of searches, and also a flood of fake result links.

Students tracking other exam outcomes this week can also check the KSET Result 2026, which covers 37 subjects for Assistant Professor eligibility in Karnataka. For the full list of declared scores across exams, visit the results section.

How to check your NPTEL Jul-Dec 2026 scorecard

Go to the official portal first. Type the address yourself instead of tapping a link forwarded in a WhatsApp group. Fake pages copy the NPTEL look and ask for personal details.

• Open the official NPTEL portal and find the Results for Jul-Dec 2026 Exams section
• Open the official result sheet and look for your course name
• Click the result link for your course and enter your roll number or login details where asked
• Check your name, register number, course name and code, and marks
• Download the scorecard PDF and save a copy on your phone and computer

If the result opens as a sheet with many courses, use the search option in your browser to find your course code. It saves you from scrolling through hundreds of rows and misreading someone else’s row as your own.

“NPTEL results come out course by course. If your course is not on the sheet yet, it is a batch still to come, not a failed result.”

What your scorecard shows, and what to check twice

Your NPTEL scorecard lists your name, register number, course name, course code, subject name, result status, total marks, maximum marks, and the result date. Read each line slowly. A wrong roll number or a course code that does not match your enrollment is the kind of error that causes trouble later, when you show the scorecard to a college or employer.

Save the PDF the day you see it. Result pages get updated as new batches arrive, and a saved copy means you always have proof of your score even if the live page changes. If you spot an error, contact NPTEL through the help options on the official portal. Do not share your login password with anyone who offers to “check” your result for you.

Your course is not listed yet? Do this, not that

First, do not panic and do not pay anyone who promises an early result. NPTEL has given no such paid route, and anyone selling one is running a scam. Second, check the spelling of your course name on the official sheet. Course names there sometimes differ slightly from the short name students use in class. Third, wait for the next batch and check again. Results started on September 29 and have kept arriving through October, so a course missing today can appear in the next update.

Why this result is worth checking today

A NPTEL certificate carries weight because the courses come from IIT faculty and follow a fixed exam pattern. For students, it is proof of a skill they studied for a full semester. For working professionals, it is a line on the resume backed by a national platform. Either way, the scorecard is the document that proves it, so downloading it on time matters.

Check your result only through the official NPTEL portal, save your scorecard, and keep an eye on the next batch if your course is still pending. The October 28 batch is out. Your course could be next.
