The University of Kota has declared the Rajasthan SET 2026 result. Only 9,191 of the 1,39,383 candidates who took the test have qualified. The merit list and the subject-wise final answer key are live on the official website of the University of Kota.

The Rajasthan State Eligibility Test decides who can apply for Assistant Professor posts in colleges and universities across the state. The exam was held on September 13, 2026, and a re-exam followed on September 27 for some centres. The result came out on November 6, the same day as the CA Foundation September 2026 result, which made it a big day for result news across the country.

If you appeared for the test, the wait is over. The Rajasthan SET result 2026 is published as a selection list in PDF form, so you will need to find your roll number in the list rather than log in to see a scorecard.

State eligibility tests are known for tough cut-offs, and the Bihar SLET is another such test that has been in the news this week. In Rajasthan, the low pass rate means the qualifying list is short, and candidates should check the subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks to see where they stand.

Only 6.59 per cent of the candidates who sat for the exam made it to the final list. If your roll number is there, you have cleared one of the toughest eligibility tests in the state.

How to check the Rajasthan SET result 2026

The result is a PDF merit list, not an individual scorecard page. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official website of the University of Kota, uok.ac.in.
  2. Look for the link “SET Examination 2026 — Final Answer Key and Result” on the homepage.
  3. Open the merit list PDF for your subject.
  4. Press Ctrl + F and search for your roll number. You will need your S code and roll number to find your entry.
  5. Download the PDF and save a copy for your records.

Check the cut-off marks for your subject and category as well. Your name in the list confirms that you have qualified, but the cut-off tells you the qualifying standard that applied to your group. Save the final answer key for your subject too, since it is the record of the answers the university treated as correct.

Final answer key came out with the result

The provisional answer key was published on October 5, and candidates could raise objections online. The final answer key, released with the result on November 6, settles those objections. If you had raised an objection, compare the final key with the provisional one to see whether it was accepted.

The exam itself had two compulsory objective papers, held without a break. Paper I had 50 questions for 100 marks and Paper II had 100 questions for 200 marks, making 150 questions for 300 marks in three hours. The university has also put out a separate re-exam notice for candidates linked to Centre Codes 4057 and 4066, who should check the university website for further instructions.

What qualifying means, and what it does not

Clearing the Rajasthan SET makes you eligible to be considered for Assistant Professor jobs in Rajasthan. That is the whole point of the test, and for many candidates it is the result of months of preparation.

It is not, by itself, a job. The university has made it clear that qualifying does not guarantee an appointment. You will have to apply on your own when universities and other recruiting bodies advertise teaching posts, and each recruitment will have its own rules and other eligibility conditions. Keep your result PDF and your other exam documents safe. You will need them when you apply, and you may be asked for them again at the time of verification.
