SSC JE Admit Card Out for Nov 2 Exam: 1,699 Posts, Paper-I Starts in 3 Days

Follow us on Google

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started releasing the SSC JE admit card 2026 from October 30, 2026. The first batch covers candidates whose Paper-I exam is on November 2. If your exam falls later in the week, your card will appear a couple of days before your own date, not today. This recruitment covers 1,699 tentative vacancies for Junior Engineer posts, and Paper-I is a computer-based test.

Do not wait till the last evening to download your hall ticket. Servers get slow when thousands of candidates log in at once, and you need time to spot mistakes. Check your name, photograph, exam date, shift, reporting time, and centre address the moment you download it.

SSC JE admit card 2026: day-wise release schedule

SSC is not releasing all cards on one day. Each exam date gets its own release day, roughly two days ahead of the exam. The schedule reported for the first exam window is:

  • November 2 exam: admit card out on October 30, 2026
  • November 3 exam: admit card out on October 31, 2026
  • November 4 exam: admit card out on November 1, 2026
  • November 5 exam: admit card out on November 2, 2026
  • November 6 exam: admit card out on November 3, 2026

Candidates for the second window, on November 30 and December 1, will get their cards a few days before those dates. If you log in and see no download link yet, check your own exam date first. An empty login usually means your batch has not opened, not that your application was rejected.

Your admit card is the only document that confirms your exact centre. The city slip tells you the city, but the hall ticket gives the full centre address and your reporting time. Trust the card, not a forwarded message.

SSC JE Paper-I exam dates after the revised schedule

SSC revised the Junior Engineer Examination 2026 schedule through a notice dated October 26, 2026. Paper-I now runs in two windows. The first window, from November 2 to 6, covers Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) and the IMD Scientific Assistant posts. The second window, on November 30 and December 1, is for Junior Engineer (Telecommunication).

Paper-I is a two-hour computer-based test with 200 questions for 200 marks. General Intelligence and Reasoning carries 50 questions, General Awareness carries 50, and General Engineering in your discipline carries 100.

Students tracking other hall tickets this week can compare the pattern with the DSSSB TGT admit card release, where post-wise dates also differed, and the IBPS SO mains admit card for an exam on November 1. Our exam results and admit card news section carries the same kind of date-wise updates for other tests.

How to download your SSC JE Paper-I hall ticket

Follow these steps once your batch is live:

  • Go to the SSC candidate login on the official SSC website.
  • Log in with your registration ID or roll number and your date of birth.
  • Open the Junior Engineer Examination 2026 section.
  • Select the Paper-I admission certificate download option, if it is shown.
  • Check the exam date, shift, centre, and reporting time on the card.
  • Download the card and take a clear printout for exam day.

SSC does not send the admit card by post or email. The website login is the only way to get it, so beware of links shared on social media that ask for money or extra personal details.

What to check on the card, and what to carry

Read every line on the card before you print it. Your name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, shift, reporting time, and centre address must all match your application. If anything looks wrong, contact the SSC regional office or helpdesk through the official channels right away.

On exam day, carry a printed copy of the admit card and an original photo ID. Aadhaar, voter ID, and passport are all accepted. Entry is not allowed without the admit card, and the ID has to match the name on the card. Reach the centre well before the reporting time printed on your card.
