₹65,000 a Year for 5 Years: MBBS Girls Scholarship Closes October 30

Follow us on Google

First-year MBBS girl students have just two days left to claim up to ₹65,000 a year. The Winnie Sun Scholarship 2026-27 closes on October 30, 2026, and the money continues for the full MBBS course, up to five years.

Medical seats are hard to win, and the fees that follow are hard on most families. Books, equipment, hostel and exam fees pile up in the first year itself. This scholarship is aimed squarely at that pressure point. It is run by Concentrix Daksh Services India Private Limited, and applications are handled through the Buddy4Study portal.

Who can apply

The programme is open to female students from anywhere in India who are in the first year of an MBBS course at a government medical college. You must have completed your Class 12 board examination. Your family’s total annual income from all sources must not be more than ₹5 lakh.

Children of employees of Buddy4Study India Foundation or Concentrix Private Limited cannot apply. Some scholarship listings also mention a marks bar of 70 percent in Classes 10 and 12, relaxed to 60 percent for SC, ST and OBC students. The official application page does not list a marks cut-off, so read the form itself before you apply and go by what it asks for.

Preference is given to three groups during selection: children from single-parent families or orphans, students from Aspirational Districts, and students with disabilities. If you fall in any of these groups, keep your proof ready.

“Selected scholars will receive financial assistance of up to INR 65,000 per year throughout the duration of their MBBS course.”

What the money covers

The amount is up to ₹65,000 per year, paid through Direct Benefit Transfer. It is meant for real study costs: institution fees, examination fees, books, stationery and equipment, plus other academic expenses. Over five years, that adds up to ₹3.25 lakh for a student who keeps meeting the programme’s conditions.

That kind of steady support matters in MBBS because the costs do not stop after admission. Each year brings new books, new instruments and new exam fees. A scholarship that runs the whole course is worth more than a one-time payment, even if the yearly figure looks modest next to a full fee bill.

Documents to keep ready

Do not start the form with half your papers missing. The portal asks for a recent colour photograph, a government ID such as a masked Aadhaar card, driving licence or voter ID, and proof that you are enrolled right now: an admission letter, your institution ID card or the current year’s fee receipt.

You will also need your Class 12 marksheet, a full-year break-up of your education expenses including tuition, hostel, mess and books, and income proof such as salary slips, income tax returns or an income certificate from a Tehsildar or Magistrate. Keep your bank passbook or a cancelled cheque handy too, since the payment goes straight to your account. Students claiming preference as single-parent children, orphans or students with disabilities should upload that proof as well.

How to apply before October 30

Applications are online only, and the window opened on September 28, 2026. Follow these steps on the official application page:

  • Visit the official Winnie Sun Scholarship page on Buddy4Study and read the eligibility details.
  • Click Apply Now, then log in with your Buddy4Study ID or create an account with your email address, mobile number or Google account.
  • Open the Winnie Sun Scholarship Program 2026-27 form and click Start Application.
  • Fill in your details carefully, making sure names and numbers match your documents exactly.
  • Upload clear scans of every document listed above.
  • Accept the terms and conditions, preview the full form, and submit before October 30, 2026.

Save your acknowledgement after submitting. If anything in your form is wrong, fixing it after the deadline may not be possible, so check the preview screen twice.

If you are weighing other options alongside this one, the Aditya Birla Capital Scholarship is also open to girl students this session, and the SDEF India Scholarship offers up to ₹50,000 a year to first-year professional course students with an October 31 deadline. But if MBBS is your course and you match the Winnie Sun criteria, this is the one with the closest deadline, so apply here first.
